We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to Join our team! The practical nurse renders nursing care to all Residents. She/He helps to fulfill the care plans set up for each Resident. He/She must have an interest in geriatric nursing.

We are seeking to hire for all shifts:

• 2nd Shift

• 3rd Shift (Work 4 days and get paid for 5)

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE QUALIFICATIONS:

​

The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of a course for practical nursing approved by the SC Board of Nursing and maintain current license with the SC State Board of Nursing. He/She must be in good physical and mental condition, demonstrate leadership ability, and be able to work with all levels of personnel.

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE DUTIES:

​

• Admission and discharge of Residents

• Administers medications

• Makes rounds with doctors

• Keep charting up to date

• Performs treatments as necessary

• Aides in any other procedure or duties assigned as capable after proper orientation and training

• Charting

• Notification of family of a change of Resident condition

• Must be able to serve in the capacity of Charge Nurse

• Must be able to perform Routine Staff Nurse duties

• Familiarity with medical tools and equipment

• Ability to build rapport with patients

• Compassionate and caring demeanor

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
